What's New:
- Improvements to Active Directory integration, including upgrading SMB engine to improve performance and error handling
- New option to import an Active Directory group, rather than all the individual members of a group (useful when importing groups with thousands of members). See Answer ID 30612 for more information.

- Minor bug fixes, including joining a new Personal Cloud
This update is not data destructive and will upgrade your current version, however, ALWAYS back up your data before performing any firmware update.
Installation Instructions:
- Download the ix2-200-update-3.2.6.17887.zip file to your computer.
- Extract the zipped archive on your computer. It contains a ReadMe.txt file which provides information about the update and the ix2-200-3.2.6.17887.tgz update file.
NOTE: You will be using the compressed .tgz file for the installation. Do NOT try to decompress this file. - Log in to the StorCenter device and navigate to the management console.
- Click on the System icon in the left column, then click on Software Updates.
- In the Add Software popup box, click Browse... and select the ix2-200-3.2.6.17887.tgz file.
- Click on Upload and allow the file to upload to your device.
- When the update is uploaded to the Iomega NAS device, the Status column will say Ready to apply.
- Click Apply all pending updates to apply the update or updates. The software updates will be applied to your device. If you want to remove the update without applying changes, click the trash can icon the Action column.
CAUTION! Do not shut down or restart the device during the update process as this can damage the device. The software update will temporarily make the device inaccessible. Be sure no critical files are being accessed. - If the device does not reboot automatically after completing the update, please reboot manually.
- Clear the cache on your browser before accessing the StorCenter web-based interface.
- If your network uses Active Directory, you will need to rejoin your Iomega network device to the domain.
