"Founder’s edition” effectively is “Standard edition”. “Founder’s Edition” is the version of an Nvidia graphics card manufactured and sold directly by Nvidia, while other variants produced by other companies (Nvidia’s AIB partners) will typically have similar specs, or will have factory overclocks and better coolers, often resulting in AIB partner cards having better performance and being sold at higher prices than the Founder’s Edition (though there will also usually be a handful of AIB models sold at the same price, or even a slightly lower price than the FE).
Founder’s Edition cards are bloody beautiful though, especially the RTX series. If I remotely cared about the aesthetics of my PC (I’m a gamer with no RGB… am I even really a gamer?) I’d buy the FE cards over the AIB models any day.
