AMD A-Series GPU Architecture Diagram

Supported Dual Graphics Configurations

The Dual Graphics branding for 6775G2 and 6755G2 is show with Dual Channel memory. The reduced memory bandwidth of a single-channel system memory configuration precludes the Dual Graphics feature from engaging, thus the discrete graphics product will provide 3D graphics rendering. Implementations without Dual Channel Memory will use the discrete AMD Radeon™ brand only.

Dual Graphics brands will be displayed in the AMD System Monitor.

Note: AMD Radeon™ Dual Graphics requires an AMD “A” series APU plus an AMD Radeon™ discrete graphics configuration and is available on Windows® 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows® 7 Home Premium, and/or Windows® 7 Home Basic OS. Linux OS supports manual switching which requires restart of X-Server to engage and/or disengage the discrete graphics processor for dual graphics capabilities. With AMD Radeon™ Dual Graphics, full enablement of all discrete graphics video and display features may not be supported on all systems (e.g. AMD Eyefinity technology is not supported and OpenGL applications will run on the APU). Always check with your system manufacturer for specific model capabilities and supported technologies.
