Language learning is a collaboration between language input and output. You have to read and listen, so that you get familiar with the language thats what we call "input". Then, you should be forming your own sentences, using the new words and grammar you just learned, by speaking and writing. You can call the "output" part a kind of practice.

About your idea, why the heck not! (=
I believe, this section isn't a mere "tech stuff, but in English" section. Fell free to ask about anything. You may even create a voice chat room (on Discord, or some other platform), if you're into actually speaking English. You know, catching an accent requires some speaking practice. You, also, can speak with other people online.
