Arctic BioniX F120 fans are running at different RPM speeds

I have 2 Arctic BioniX F120 case fans plugged in the slot1 and slot2 header in the motherboard. Even if I set both fan speeds according to the CPU's temperature, both fans run at different speeds.



Also while I was forcing the fans to run at max RPM, one of them was running higher than the threshold value. (Max: 2000 RPM)



I've changed the slots and the results were pretty convincing that motherboard is perfectly fine.
Any idea why is this happening? And most importantly, which one is broken? (Or is beginning to be broken? )

Did you mount both of them with the same orientation?
For example, did you mount one of them horizontally and other one vertically?
If so, gravity can effect them.

Airflow restrictions can also have an effect.
If one of them is being blocked by something, that fan will be affected by that.

They aligned with the same vertical axis, so honestly I don't believe gravity would any unjust effect. The fans literally have the same air space for both interior and exterior. Don't you think it would be wiser to consider one of them is near on failure? Question is, which one?

Slower one is within spec so it is fine.
Faster one is %50 faster than the spec but generally faster speeds doesn't mean a failing fan.

If both of them runs at the same RPM physically but faster one is reporting a faster RPM than the real RPM, it could be a failing fan controller problem on the fan.
I don't think any of them is going to fail but i am no expert on fans so don't quote me on that.
