Have you ever tried testing your mouse DPI accuracy?

I've been experimenting with different mice lately and wanted to see how accurate the DPI values were compared to what was advertised. I recently tested them using mouse DPI analyzers, and the results were quite interesting; some models varied slightly from the listed DPI values.

Has anyone checked mouse DPI values this way? Were your results accurate or slightly different?
