I have been really astonished to see MSE renamed as Windows Defender in Windows 8. And the version in Windows 8 looks like more of a MSE 1.0, instead of MSE 2.0 which has a more modern look with those grids. Version numbers are also totally changed... Let's have a look:
And looks like a firewall is integrated into software too
