Should i wait for Steam summer sale before buying Battlefront 2?

Battlefront 2 is on sale now (Epic Games)​

The matter is I do not prefer to play on Epic because of some bugs and I heard something about the game not launching, opening through EA Games app opens the Epic launcher which does nothing. Steam is way better in my opinion but not sure about this game that's why I am asking if I should wait for next Summer's Sale on Steam or ignore my doubts and purchase it now on Epic.

Battlefront 2 may receive a discount on the summer sale. If you're not going to play the game right away, you'd better wait. I don't recommend the Epic Games Launcher either. It is not in a position to compete with Steam in 2023. Epic Games may be preferred due to its low price policy, but the Epic Games Launcher sucks.

I haven't experienced any issues with Epic so feel free.
