American Accent Or British Accent?

Honestly, I just prefer speaking with a British accent because to me, that’s the “real” English. I’ve been going to the UK for years, so it feels natural to lean towards that way of speaking. It’s the version I first connected with, and whenever I hear it, it just sounds right 🙂.

Also, I like how clear and sharp it can be. There’s something about British English-especially the way people in London or the South speak-that feels classy without trying too hard. Plus, most of the shows, interviews, and podcasts I’ve enjoyed over the years were in British English, so I guess it just rubbed off on me 😌. For me, it’s less about sounding fancy and more about feeling like I belong.

I've been learning English for years and will have mastered it completely in a few years, and the British accent is always better.
