I have an Asus X505BP laptop with AMD A9 9420 dual core processor and 8 GB DDR4 memory with 240 GB SATA SSD but it's running extremely slow and buggy even on Windows 10. I'm planning to upgrade the RAM and add another M.2 SSD on it. I'm curious about does it support NVMe SSD's or it only supports sata type M.2 or it should boost the performance after upgrading to 12 GB or 16 GB ?
Model : Asus Vivobook X505BP
CPU : AMD A9 9420 APU Running at 3 GHz to 3.5 GHz
RAM : (I want to put 16 gigs on it)
- 4 GB Soldered
- 4 GB 1866 MHz Crucial DDR4
Only 6.95 GB usable !
GPU : AMD Radeon 8500M and R5 graphics
Storage : Empty M.2 Slot with 2.5 inch 240 GB Hi-Level SSD (I want to learn if it's compatible with NVMe)
Display : 1366 x 768 60 Hz TFT
