Hello,
Older Optimus drivers do not recognize our game as an application needing 3D accelerator support, so they happily leave the integrated Intel chipset to get used by the game.
Newer NVidia notebook drivers, as of about 3 months old or newer, already take advantage of information exported to the "environment" by our game and the Nvidia chip is used for 3D acceleration.
There are two possible solutions:
1. Go to graphics control panel (Nvidia Settings), and in "Manage 3D settings" you can explicitly set the drivers to be used for ETS2, not to leave the decision up to Windows by default.
2. Upgrade notebook drivers. However, many notebook manufacturers don't bother offering updated chipset vendor drivers through their own driver update services. So even if the notebook system may claim that the newest driver available is installed, in reality, compared to frequent driver releases by Nvidia, they may be quite aged. In this case, these drivers may help:
Notebook Drivers.
