As mentioned at the beginning of the review, however, the temperature of the VRMs is a factor to keep a particularly close eye on when choosing this motherboard to combine with particularly high-performance CPUs. If combined with a 65W CPU, the operating temperature of the VRMs is around 45°C up to almost 55°Cusing a Ryzen 9 7900X on this motherboard in energy-intensive stress test processes brought the temperature of the VRMs to values close to 70°C resulting in loss of power and performance."
