Why isn't this section interested by users?

Those who actually care what is being spoken under this section of forum already knows some level of English which kills the purpose of learning English for an absolute beginner.
Even if they might grasp few concepts from the comments, there is no guarantee of what they have learned is syntactically correct, again kills the point.
Nevertheless, it is fun to speak in English even tho we can speak and understand Turkish perfectly so I will be watching : )

I had aimed to this viewpoint, while I was opening the discussion. I am going to check this section - everyday -, too :)

I think learning English from forums that don't have native speakers won't provide anything. This place will not be helpful to learn languages except binary :)
I honestly don't agree with you. Do we have to go to England just to learn English? No, I don't think at all. It's not like English is some holy language and you have to learn it from a native speaker. I learned it by playing games, surfing on web and etc. Let me assure you, every little thing helped me to learn English properly. So i think this kind of places will help everyone who wants to learn English.

@OP: If you're asking why this section is not interested by users you should think about the amount of users that knows English. Sadly, I don't have a optimistic thought about this situation. It's best to let them be. Of course if you would like to have some conservation, fun talks or anything that can teach you new things in English I can gladly help. I'm sure many here will.

A little misspelling here. It should be "Makes sense." :)

In my opinion, it might provide learning grammar and vocabularies but it can't teach the culture of English. Actually you can't learn idioms and phrases from none natives. For instance you know British people don't call cops as police. They call it "Old Bill" etc. I think it's hard to learn local usage of languages when you don't learn it from natives.
Also I said "you can't learn from forums", not from games or movies.

Now that you've mentioned a little more about what you wanted to mean, i can agree with you. At first I thought you meant English can't be learned w/o a native speaker. :)

I absolutely agree with you. If we make more popular this section, some people can learn English, maybe. And we will able to learn a lot of term while we are solving any problems.
