Why are new games so boring and repetitive?

İf they don't delayed the Game, it is come on september.
I know.
Portal 2 was innovative, and it almost had no killing. It can be done, but no one gives it a try. I guess everyone goes for the money without taking any risks. That’s kinda sad if you ask me, to be honest.
I read about Portal 2 two days ago(Guinness World Records 2020 Gamers Edition). Portal 2 is have best comments in Steam(for %).

Then you should try indie games.
I end up seeing thousands of hentai games when I look for them. I am not so sure about them anymore. I found something interesting though. The game’s A Story About My Uncle. Everyone should check it out as it’s cheap.

I mean it’s killing one way or another whether it is with guns, medieval stuff or magic. @Bora Dere

Ubisoft keeps making same games again and again and again. Like they've made same Far Cry game 3 times, 3! And Assassin's Creed... They're making Origins 3rd time.

Also EA. They're making same game with player patch every year and they want us to pay 500 TL to same game every year.

I should buy a PlayStation. At least exclusive games seems really good.

Because when you make an original game like Death Stranding, people don't like it. But if you announce a new Farcry, they wil pre-order before seeing the gameplay.

Keep in mind that the games might cost as much as a brand new car in a few years with the prices we have over here. :D
I'm planning and preparing to go and live in Canada. Life is hard, isn't it? We'll see what will happen...

If players make pressure on companies(Ubisoft, EA, etc.) which makes repetitive games, this situation can be changed.

Death Stranding game has a very weirdo game design, people praise it to be cool, first 5 hours was like hell. The reason new games are boring is because every game maker is trying to put Open-World title to their games, so they can hit the minimum 30hours mark to sell the game at 60$ price, and playing Open-World games back to back will tire you out, so what I recommend is when you finish a Open-World game try to play a Indie title like Hollow Knight. It used to be a privilege to make Open-World games few years ago, now Open-World games have become a easy money-making tool for every Company out there.
