There are many differences between İstanbul and Ankara. First difference is the traffic jam.
To explain, İstanbul is the most popular City'in Turkey. Therefore, İstanbul's traffic jam is worst than Ankara's. There are 4 millions vehicles in İstanbul. The roads aren't suitable for these vehicles. The second difference is the tdvantage of having a coast. For example, The people can benefit from the sea landscape in the City. The people can use sea transportation and bridges. Finally, There are many more historical places in İstanbul than Ankara. Because İstanbul was the capital City of the Ottoman Empire and Byzantium Empire. For instance Hz. Muhammed said, Verily you shall conquer Constantinople.
